And the sky demon Amai-te-rangi once threatened my grandson, Ngaru.” Her head tilts at an unnatural angle, like a lizard analyzing its prey. “Now you know with whom you pledge allegiance against. Bow to me as a god, and leave... Or do you wish to further demonstrate your loyalty? I wish this fallen city be granted rest.”
